There are few things finer than a fall day out on the course with close friends. Even finer when that day includes a visit to the Osprey Valley Resort in Caledon, Ontario.
Arguably one of the best 3-course complexes in the country, Osprey packs a punch and rarely disappoints. Osprey is home to the original Heathlands links layout, the parkland Toot as well as ever intriguing Hoot wasteland course. It’s Pine Valley inspired style with vast waste bunkers, tall pines and subtle elevation changes has made the Hoot a true fan favourite among Ontario golfers.
Here’s a quick spin around the Hoot, from a breezy but beautiful day in October 2015:

Osprey Valley Hoot’s par-4 7th is short, but plays uphill through a small opening to a steeply sloping green

Challenging risk/reward par-4 12th tempts you to cut the corner over water to a well protected green

Players who hit a great drive on par-5 13th are rewarded with a roll down the hill to shorten their approach over water to an accessible green
