Last year, and again this year, my writing has been nominated for a Kenneth R Wilson award, which acknowledges the best in Canadian magazine writing. This year I was surprised to hear I’d won in the category of “best professional article,” for a story I wrote for Listed magazine, a business publication out of Toronto.
The article is called “But is it art?” and is about the patent battle over Amazon’s one-click patent. For those interested in reading something that is decidedly not golf, you can find it here.
I’ve been nominated for several awards over the years — some for golf writing, plenty for business writing — and it is always nice to have your work recognized. A special thanks to my editor at Listed, Brian Banks, who always makes my writing sound smarter and sharper.
And thanks to all of you for continuing to read G4G.
Congratulations RT!
Congrats RT
