First thing to read every Monday am

Another great weekend of TV golf – the BMW at Wentworth and playoff between World #1 and World # 2 was brilliant, Watson winning the SENIORS, and a Bradley spawn winning the Byron Nelson, all were good TV.  I also threw in watching the Memorial Cup final between St Mike’s and Saint John, plus a bucket of balls at the local range.   And I loved the fact that Golf Channel kept announcing that a female had qualified for the “Canadian” Tour.

Anyway, every Monday (early) I receive Global Golf Post via email.  It is the equivalent of the old Golfworld magazine, but better! and right up to date in case you aren’t a couch potato like me.    I think Golftown have something to do with the Canadian distribution, but not the editorial.  Anyway many of “those who get it” probably already receive it, in case you don’t:       subcription is free!

I am a Sergio fan – it’s starting to be like being a LEAF fan!   I was so hoping he was over his depression (Greg Norman’s daughter jilted him) and would play well yesterday in Texas – I thought he had a great chance as most of the good players were either in the UK or also watching on TV.  But he fell to 20th or something.

  • I too am a Sergio fan and was very disappointed that he was unable to prevail on the weekend. He has so much talent and when he is up he displays so much joy. The woes of putting seem to undo so many golfers’s dreams. May be like Suzann Pettersen he just has to persevere.
