During RBC Canadian Open week last week the fine folks at Weston Golf And Country Club in Toronto were kind enough to host the top golf scribes in this country for the annual Golf Journalist Association of Canada golf tournament. A great day was had by all as the rains held off and made for a lovely round on this Willie Park Jr designed gem, then followed by the GJAC writers awards that evening.
Just wanted to share some photos of a few of the holes that caught my eye as we made our way through our round.
The 12th hole is actually a short par 5!!
Thanks John and Jimmy. Think I was already on vacation mode when I posted these.
One of the greatest days I’ve had in golf was at Weston, in the PGAO Pro/Womens Championship in the 1970s. On the 15th I hit a good 8 iron close, Marlene Streit steps up and hits 5 wood inside my ball! 🙂
