Tiger presented Weir with his only green jacket in 2003

Given all the hoopla surrounding Tiger Woods headed into the Masters, one has to wonder what PGA Tour player might fly under the radar and take the green jacket?

Well, why not Mike Weir?

Weir’s had a pretty consistent year to date. Making cuts in all 5 tournaments he’s entered, highlighted by a 6th place finish at the Bob Hope.

And we know Mike is comfortable at the Masters. He knows the tricky greens and the nuances of the golf course.

The 2003 champion hasn’t won on tour since 2007, so what better place to finally get back on the winning track. Oddsmakers have installed Tiger Woods as a 3/1 favourite, while Weir is currently listed at 66/1.

What do you think? What are Mike’s chances? Add your thoughts in the comments.
