Titleist Unveils New Products, I Fall in Love with the Icon

The Icon -- a Classic in the making

The Icon -- a Classic in the making

I spent a morning last week at Eagles Nest getting a look at the new Titleist equipment line up, including the wonderful-looking FJ Icon shoes, which are designed to replace the much-loved Footjoy Classics. The shoes are stunning, though I realized I now own more golf shoes than my wife has regular shoes in her closet. I’m Robert Thompson and I’m a golf shoe addict…

My take on the gear, much of which I tested out alongside Fairway Stevie, is now located in our equipment section.

Speaking of Mr. Fairway, Stevie got fitted for some strange gizmo that looks like a boxing mouthguard, but which he claims has changed his life and his golf game. See video of his experience here.
