Sympatico Round One Notes

A quick notes package from the first round is now up at Sympatico.

Interesting to see just how low the scores are beyond Kevin Na, who shot a remarkable round yesterday. The greens held everything — including shots from the long rough. With the change of the par-4 16th into a par-5, it isn’t surprising that scoring is low. Talk in the media tent is about a cut of -2, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it went as low as -3.

Anyway, the notes can be found here. I’ll continue to update as the day goes along.
