Callaway, the GAO and Toronto Maple Leafs introduce golf to juniors

In 2007, Callaway Golf partnered with the Golf Association of Ontario and junior golf guru Mike “Mr. Knickers” Kelly to form a program intended to introduce golf to juniors across the province. The program, now branded as Callaway Golf For Kids, brings the game right to area schools and youth programs to try and teach kids not only the fundamentals but the “fun” of the game.

As part of their on going initiative, the program headed out to the Toronto Maple Leafs’ hockey camp in Etobicoke to show young hockey players how similar the game is to the one they already have a passion for. As an added bonus, the kids got to meet hockey legend and long-time youth sports supporter Johnny Bower!
