Okay, nothing in life is truly free, so it won’t be the case here either. However, I’m not going to ask a lot of my readers. The paper back of my book, Going for the Green: On the Links with Canada’s Business and Political Elite, is out now, with a new cover, a nice quote from Mike Weir on the cover and a new postscript. Oh, and tons of good reading as well.
I’ve got five signed copies to give away — and one of those lucky winners will get to join me for a round of golf in the GTA upcoming.
Anyway, all you have to do is answer to this question: In the opening chapter of Going for the Green I caddied at the Canadian Open at Angus Glen for Jim Kinnear, the CEO of Pengrowth and Jim Balsillie, the co-CEO of Research in Motion. Who was the PGA Tour pro in our group? Hint: He won the tournament that year.
Send all responses to me at robert.thompson@ontgolf.ca with the subject “G4G Book Contest.”
Best of luck. I’ll announce the winner on May 8.
