Rain, rain go away: The view from my hotel room is obscured by the falling rain.
So I’m sitting in my hotel room looking out at the ocean and … a lot of rain. LA, like Monterey on the weekend, is really, really wet. There’s lots on my schedule today that involves golf and Riviera, site of the Northern Trust Open, but it is far from clear how much of it will happen given the weather. TaylorMade, who flew a motley crew of writers, including Rick Young, Ian Hutchison and Bob Weeks, down for a couple of days, still has lots for us to do, and we’re off to their corporate headquarters tomorrow to test drive their latest gear. So at least there is that…
In the meantime we’ll be heading down to Riviera anyway, apparently to spend some time talking to Retief Goosen, Pebble Beach winner Dustin Johnson, and, of course, Mike Weir.
want some snow and sleet?
