Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to take a few moments to thank all my readers throughout the year — those who lurk and those who offer sometimes stinging, but generally stimulating commentary. Its been an interesting year for G4G and the site. I am enthusiastic about writing more unbiased, critical course reviews and continuing to offer my columns and thoughts on the game from my so-called mind. After almost five years of blogging, it still isn’t stale for me and I hope you still find it intriguing, controversial and thought-provoking too.

I’m going to disappear with my kids and wife for a few days over the holidays — likely returning with the continuing saga of the golf architecture review (there’s still lots more to come). Then it will be January and the PGA Tour season will have kicked back into gear. I have lots I still haven’t written about from my travels — including my trip to Long Island in November — and have some interesting trips in the offing.

Regardless, best to each of you and your families.
