That’s the news just out from the RCGA.
Other names announced include: Camilo Villegas, Johnson Wagner, Steve Marino, Ryan Moore and Nicolas Thompson.
Pretty solid actually. I’ll go into it more later, but I’d rather have Anthony Kim than Vijay Singh.
rt,
was that the choice? Kim or Singh? why even bother making that comparison? I assume you just don’t like Singh and are going to take Kim’s confirmation to slag Vij. Why bother? you’re better than that.
Phil: No issue with Vijay. But you always want the young upstart over the veteran. If you get both than great, but Kim could be a rival to Tiger and Vijay’s best days are behind him.
Robert…is Vijay out for sure and do you know if the RCGA is still waiting on some big names? I know guys like Leonard always play well at the Abbey. Rod.
rt,
my bad then. apologies.
kim is certainly the young upstart, and you and I might follow him, but does he have more draw power than Vij to the regular attendee? remember, there have now been about dozen guys or so who were allegedly supposed to “challenge tiger”…
see: matt kuchar/howell III/adam scott/ baddedly/ sergio/ ricky barnes/ etc etc…
that said, i’m sure the can open would take almost all of those guys in a heartbeat. even barnes seems to be better on the Nationwide Tour this year.
