My latest (and second to last) online Score column is on Bob Cupp, the architect behind Beacon Hall, Deerhurst Highlands and Mad River. You can find it here.
Score is retooling its site and are ending the architecture column I’ve written for the past two years. I have one more that will appear in a couple of weeks, and am hopefully returning to the relaunched site in the New Year with a new concept.
Glad to see your column on architecture is disappearing. You know nothing about the subject and I gather Score realized that. Please stick to topics you know something about. That being said, that would mean you would be writing a blank column.
Try writing that with your real name, Crappy.
Mr. Happy,
Perhaps you could give us some examples of Robert’s thoughts on architecture that are off base. I would be nice if you were to see you back up your claim so to speak.
What is Robert so wrong about?
Happy: Do you think someone would pay me to write a blank column? Very pop art, don’t you think? But if you can line this gig up, I’ll toss you a percentage.
The ” legend ” here !!! Whoever you are , I suggest you contact me !! 905 642 9535 —
What a joke trying to reply to you — This coming from a future hall of famer ( Canada ) You people think you know about the Canadian golf industry ??? You are all 36 handicappers !!! I am considered a ” legend ” as far as Canada is considered — Just check with Weeksy — Kim Locke — Doug Carrick — Moe – George — and Al — ( all gone now ) —
Call me anytime — 905 642 9535 —
Or read my book when it get’s published !!!
Ted Maude —
????
Where’d that come from????
That probably came from somewhere in south central Ontario. Elementary, my dear bundy316 – Area code 905 is a telephone dialing area for south central Ontario.
When is your book getting published, Ted? You’ve been talking about it now for four years – I can’t wait forever.
I want to check with Stan Leonard -he’s gone too. How can I reach him?
I don’t know much about Canada’s golf industry and I’m a 36+ handicapper myself. But one thing I do know is that there’s no necessary logical connection between being a scratch golfer and knowing the ins and outs of the industry. Should someone be
inducted into the Hall of Fame because he knows the industry? I don’t think so.
Another thing – does anyone who is not gone yet, other than yourself, consider you to be legend as far as Canada is concerned? If so, how can I check with this person?
