Orlando: the view from 23,000 feet

Here are a few thoughts from a recent vacation to Orlando:

1 We had a stop over in North Carolina and had great pulled pork sandwiches in the airport.

2 Flying into Orlando I noticed that unlike North Carolina, where courses are defined by the tree lines they are cut through, these Florida courses are defined by the cart paths – yech!

3 Played Champions Gate and Metro West. The greens down south suck.

4 Adventure Island at Universal is the best theme park – EVER! Hint: Do all the dry rides and then change into a swim suit for all the wet rides and have a blast.

5 The Premium Outlet Mall in Lake Buena Vista is the only outlet mall worth a damn in Orlando

6 If it rains in Orlando, drive to Clearwater beach for the day. Do it and you’ll know why.
