1:00pm One of Jason Gore’s corporate playing partners has played his ball down the rough on the first hole and then hits a beautiful wedge that sucks back to within 12 feet.

1:15pm A soldiers can be found around the course caddying for amatuers.

1:25pm Shideki Mariyama’s 7 year old son, who has been creating a sensation on the driving range banging out 130 yard lasers with his three wood, is reading breaks on the third hole. For the record, his dad misses the putt.

1:45pm The best seat in the house is under a big old tree by the eighteeth green of the North Course. The eighteenth is not being for the Open this year. From under this tree you can watch the pros hit incredible sand shots.
