It has been banned by CBS because of the use of alcohol, but one has to wonder if John Daly’s new Maxfli commercial shouldn’t have been kept off the air in the interest of good taste… anyway, like a car wreck, you won’t be able to take your eyes off it.

I think he’s gone and stomped over the fine line between being a good ol’ boy and a doofus.
I love the part where he takes over the beer cart. It’s in the same humiliating vein as K-Fed’s SuperBowl commercial.
Some will say it’s “in bad taste”, I didn’t think it was that bad…cheesy, but no worse than anything NASCAR would use…
That really is awful, but I don’t blame John.
I would point a finger at the 27 year old agency creative director who came up with this “cool, out there, rockin idea”. Grow up!
And the exec at Maxfli who thought this would be a great way to connect with the younger male demographic should volunteer to take a paycut as well…
