Wyndansea's 15th Hole

Since Jack Nicklaus compared Wyndansea, the course he is developing in Ucluelet, BC, to those on the Monterrey Peninsula — namely Pebble Beach and Cypress Point — I thought G4G readers might enjoy a peak at what one of the best holes looks like.

As is becoming standard, the club “created” one hole to entice potential investors into spending $1.5 million on a lot. That said, the hole, at 192 yards over an ocean inlet, is one of the more breathtaking I’ve seen in all of Canada. Though Nicklaus failed to hit the green in either of his attempts with the prospective customers standing by, his media relations manager told me he took a shot earlier in the day and hit the green.
