  • Have to wonder when the last time Jim Rutledge had a quadruple bogey on his opening hole of the day . . . that’s a quick way to miss a cut . . .

  • At times it looks like Duval has finally forgotten all the tips he got.
Hope Mike remembers that he is MIKE WEIR, MASTERs CHAMPION, and just plays HIS game again. “Two coaches” What does a Master’s Champion learn from two coaches? They learn more than he will! Why does the European Team win more Ryder Cups? Fewer paid advisors I would guess.
Phil is the only guy who seems to make Team Golf work, and sometimes they seem to call in some funny plays (his visor has a speaker in it “use your driver Phil, the tourney is yours”)
Anyway, I hope Mike beats Ames by one shot every tournament.
