Lehman announces Ryder Cup squad; Weir crashes as Tiger runs away

In case you are interested, Tom Lehman will announce the Ryder Cup team — mainly the two captain’s picks — at 9 am 10 am. You can see it live here.

Oh, and Mike Weir still can’t close the deal on Sunday. Lorne Rubenstein writes about it here — and though Lorne seems to think Weir might rebound from this, it is starting to look like a pattern.

I’m off to catch up with Lehman and golf designer Tom McBroom tomorrow in Collingwood for their grand opening of the Raven at Lora Bay. I’m sure more people will be interested in speaking with Lehman about his role as the Ryder Cup captain. Given that, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of a placement the golf course launch gets in most stories.
