Ironman golf for Big Brothers and Sisters

Hello faithful G4G readers:

On Tuesday I’m playing in the Ironman Golf fundraiser — 12 hours of high-paced golf in an effort to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto. Last year the event raised nearly $200,000, and the aim is to top that this year.

I’ve been asked to join in at late notice in the hopes of garnering some coverage for the event. But I also want to raise as much money as is possible. If you are interested in sponsoring me (it can be for total number of holes, birdies made, whatever…), here’s an easy link to follow to sponsor me online.

The event is July 11. I’ve played 36 for six straight days and 54 in one day, but I’ve never topped that number. I expect to get in five to six rounds on Tuesday. And no, I’m not using it for my handicap!

Thanks in advance and now back to your regularly scheduled program.

– Robert
