Great article and lovely photos, but you obviously like the exclusive /expensive venues.
Interesting concept if not entirely new , to go to the golf on the train I remember seeing Cruden Bay in the wilds of Scotland advertised on Railway Notice Boards. A true Vicorian holiday destination.
Beaconsfield Golf Course (Colt) owes its existence to the railway . Much of the mounding having been derived from the great cutting that runs through the Middle of the Course. They have their own station too.
What brings your article to light for me is that I recently organised a golf event at Magnolia Park in Oxfordshire. 3 of the London based players came out to Bicester and I picked them up from the station 5 minutes away. I like the idea of seeping of the train and into the Club House and I`m going to look a little closer into it.
    Keep up the good work.
