I assume you’re ‘looping’ for free since thats your MO!!

But on his deathbed Rob will achieve total consciousness. So he’s got that going for him.

I read here, or maybe it was Score, that the PGA tour wants eight Canadian events and $150K purses. Isn’t that what it has been all along? There have been $150K purses for at least a decade (check the 2002 schedule on the website), what is going on that things have stagnated, and in fact backtracked, since then? In 2010, a few purses spiked over $300K and now we have the same old purses and so-so schedule.

Another good article. The thing that really impresses me about caddies, especially on the PGA Tour is how good of shape they are in.

I’d love to read about the fatigue factor as you get thru the weekend, providing he makes the cut.

I was just watching the PGA at Bethpage Black, which is by far the hardest golf course i have ever been to, and Feherty said the course is 8 miles from the 1st tee to 18th green. Hence why it is the hardest golf course ever.

You have to be in insane shape to walk that 6 times in 100 degree heat.

Steve: re: schedule. Exactly. But I think they need more events rather than bigger purses.

And if the PGA pulls funding — I don’t see a Canadian Tour.

Darren: I’ll keep you posted. Today wasn’t too bad, though Scarborough isn’t an easy walk with a tour bag. My man shot 72, probably the worst he could have. I’m in pretty good shape at the moment — I ran 10 km last night — but you still feel it in your legs walking up 18.
