I think the golf design and concept different than I Have ever experienced. I wish the best to the group because the concept is unique and inviting.
It’s like nothing I’ve experienced. To be there, is a different world, much calmer place.

I live about an hour south of Sagebrush and have never played the course. When it was being constructed and finally finished, I was under the impression that it was only available for play for those who purchased a rather pricey lot on the property. Many I have spoken to felt and thought the same way. When did it begin to allow public play? Perhaps it’s remote location doesn’t help (same with Tobiano) but the Marketing for the golf course in regards to public play (or lack thereof) may have something to do with it as well.

That’s too bad that Zoke isn’t with Sagebrush any longer — he definitely represented the heart and spirit of the course. He exhibited such passion for the unique track each time we were there.

Maybe now the siren call of the Champions tour will become louder in his eardrums…

Played in 2010, spent some time with Dick who was classic and part of the unforgettable experience. As we walked off our 36th hole, all of us tried to figure out how a place like this was sustainable or commercially viable. Couldn’t figure it out. Think this most recent news is just a symptom of the larger problem that sagebrush faces. Play it if you have the chance, a real special place.

Didn’t take Disco Dick long to find a new gig, HP at Predator Ridge, the best club pro vacancy out there
