    Robert,
Parks Canada also lease out Green Gables in P.E.I.
Can’t wait to get up to Cape Breton and play the Highlands!

    Robert,
As I know you are aware, there are many many people who recognize the greatness and importance of Cape Breton Highlands locally, regionally and nationally. We are fortunate to have an important asset such as Highlands. I, as well, am encouraged by the work that has been done to improve the course and hope the plan that Ian developed back in 2008 continues to be followed.

The entire team responsible for Highlands has really embraced the course and I believe it is now in good hands going forward. Lets hope that Parks Canada will continue to support this team as they have demonstrated during the last couple of years and ensure the experience that the course delivers is world class in every way.

With the addition of Cabot Links to the course portfolio in Cape Breton it is entirely possible that the island could have two of the top 100 courses in the world just down the road from each other.

Canada’s best course, by it’s greatest designer, owned by the people of Canada and available to anyone to play … even in jeans

    I think that’s important.

    Amen! ian.

Well said Ian! I have heard so much about this place from people who’s opinions I hold in high regard, I look forward to playing it.

Is there anything at Highland comparable to what he did Capilano?
