Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. The link you provided will be my one and only visit to that site.

RT. More than 2 sites can exist – it just depends on whether they plan to be a hobby/labour of love or a commercial success.

Trow is one of the good guys!

THere are so many TV shows, magazines, newspapers, blogs, etc. but very few “interesting” places to find anything new about golf, just recycled “stuff” and other people’s ideas of what we should take note of. I live on an island, a very small one right now, so I have to surf the web to keep informed – I can’t go to a Golftown (to see last year’s stuff) – so, the more sites the merrier. There are a few.

Like yourself I am a blogger and love reading about new “leading edge” blog sites. I love visiting them each month to see how the amount of posts have dropped off until it is eventually taken down!

Strange that Pro Shop would wait to long to enter the online world, then come in with such a hideous looking site. And hard to imagine that a group which has alienated the CPGA and publicly attacked the RCGA will get much official support.

Will golfers support the site? Depends if it offers anything new, interesting or free. At the moment I don’t see much unique info there. The golf industry has had a lot of sites come and go, especially those related to magazines and recycled edit and press releases won’t cut it.

The equipment niche is currently well-served by golfnewsnow.ca. Think Pro Shop is going to have to find a better hook to capture and keep an audience.
