I’m spending a couple of days in Long Island, a whirlwind of a tour for two days that will take me to the home of American golf — National Golf Links — and a newer course, Coore and Crenshaw’s highly-rated Friar’s Head, and then off to a couple of lesser known gems, the Creek Club (another CB Macdonald design) and Engineers (a Herbert Strong course, the same designer who crafted Lakeview in Mississauga.
Not sure how much time I’ll have to post, but I’ll take plenty of photos and get some of them up tomorrow.
