I’m more than a touch worn out from walking 36 holes (the last 18 while carrying my bag), but I’m also elated at what may have been my best day of golf — 18 at Cypress Point Club in the AM, followed by lunch and a round at Pebble Beach. I’ll go into more detail about it upcoming, but suffice to say I managed to bogey the 16th at Cypress, and par the 18th at Pebble Beach as the sun was dying in the sky. Here’s some photos of the day — more to come when I’m back in Canada.

I wonder how many have died and asked their next of kin to sprinkle their ashes on either of these courses? I know I’m going to put it in my will!

I get it now. It really looks bad. Standing on the tee and looking down a cart path. I have played there 6-8 times and every time I am on #6 I want to move it. Funny enough there are a lot of places they could have hid the cart paths but didn’t.
Matt: Round took 4 hours 50 minutes. We got in just as the sun was setting. I was pretty patient, made a couple of birdies, and parr on the 18th. It is an interesting experience and one I’ll write about tomorrow.

Craig: Both courses have remarkable locations, but I wonder what would have happened had the respective designers not shown enough restraint.
