I will agree with you RT that some of the green designs are questionable (13 and 14) but other than that I thought PH was a very good golf course. There are lots of options on most holes, the par 3′s are solid and green to tee (except between 10 and 11) were very short.
The one aspect of the club you didn’t mention that I thought rated a 9.5 was the range (it’s not a 10 because you have to get a token from the pro shop and hit a poor quality range ball). I think I counted 12-14 pins at varied distances. The hitting surface was tight and the practice green large and consistent with the course.
Both are ideally loacted beside the pro shop and close to the first tee.

What an incredible review of this golf course. Being that I live in Florida, I may never have a chance to play this course, but your comments and descriptions bring the course to life, enough that I was able to picture much of what you described.
