Major props coming to Going For the Green from the fine folks at Travelgolf.com. Editor Tim McDonald writes that Going For The Green is “a good blog he keeps current.” He also notes that I’m “a course rater for Golf Digest and includes solid, though prosaic, course reviews.”
Thanks for the love. I’ll keep the copy coming.

Congrats are in order!
Of course, I’m a Nazi.
We love you anyway bunker! You too Rob. You rock.
I wouldn’t be bragging about being mentioned on Travel
Golf Dot com. Robert Lewis, who
hides behind the Rebel Blogger signature Blog, is mad
at Walters Golf of Las Vegas for pulling its
advertising. Now, Lewis is waging a smear campaign,
totally sophmoric at Walters. On the other hand Lewis
praises Ron Garl as the greatest architect of all-time
because Garl is writing a FREE architecture column for
him. Garl is excellent, but not up to the “hypocrite”
Lewis’ praise. Lewis also calls media types “whores”
because they accept free stuff and trips.
TravelGolf.com was built on FREE everthing. Writers
write for free to get free trips. And to this day
while he is still ripping those who accept “FREE TRIPS
and stuff” his company, Travel Golf Dot Sucks
Big-time, still accepts free stuff from anyone. Robert
Lewis is the biggest “WHORE” of them all.
Walters Golf is suing Robert Lewis the Rebel Blogger for libel. See their side of the story at http://www.waltersgolf.com.
Also, the guy at SeasideGolf.com says Lewis and TravelGolf.com might be guilty of copyright infringement. Read this thread about that:

Hey anonymous: What you say about Travel Golf may well be true. They approached me about taking my blog on their site, and though the offer seemed very kind, I think I’ll be happier on my own.
I’ve heard mention of the Walters Golf issue. Interesting, isn’t it?
Nice note, by the way, but it would be so much better if you identified yourself when making such strong remarks.
